Job summary

Sun Communities is seeking a Senior Community Manager to oversee operations, profitability, and day-to-day resident contact at our Austin community. You will handle leasing, marketing, budgets, and safety, with on-site housing provided for this role.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in property management with supervisory experience, plus strong communication and leadership skills. A Bachelor's in Real Estate, Hospitality, or Business is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Hospitality, or Business (Preferred).
• 4 years in property management experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience (Required).
• 6 months in prior sales and leasing experience (Required).
• Strong knowledge of maintenance and basic accounting principles.
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws pertaining to fair housing and employment law.

Responsibilities

• Markets homes for sale and coordinates listing documents.
• Resolves complaints and responds to issues in a timely manner.
• Manages rent collection, postings, and delinquency collections.
• Coordinates leasing activity, repairs, and re-leasing of homes.
• Ensures compliance with fair housing laws and safety policies.
• Assists with budgets, CapEx planning, and monthly reporting.
• Leads team development and ensures policy compliance.
