Job summary

Greystar is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of an apartment community in Austin, TX. You will lead leasing, revenue management, and resident services while coordinating a team to meet budgeted goals and ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

You will analyze financial statements, approve vendor contracts, supervise maintenance staff, and maintain safety, curb appeal, and high resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
• 4-6 years minimum of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Meet revenue targets by setting rents and collecting payments; review monthly financials.
• Approve vendor invoices, ensure insurance certificates, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Control expenditures within the approved budget and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, applications, renewals, notices, evictions, and late fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies.
• Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints promptly.
• Ensure maintenance standards and supervise maintenance staff.
• Conduct property inspections and maintain safety, cleanliness, and appearance.
• Hire, orient, train, and evaluate property staff; manage performance.
