Job summary

Thompson Thrift is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for The Depot in Raymore, Missouri. You will partner with the Community Manager to support leasing performance, financial processes, and resident satisfaction at a multifamily community.

This on-site role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, 1+ year in leasing, and a high school diploma or GED. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required for outreach and inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in property management or related operations.
• At least 1 year of on-site leasing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required for outreach marketing.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements: frequent lifting 10–25 lbs, occasional up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support leasing performance by assisting with follow-up, application processing, and renewal coordination.
• Monitor leasing activity, traffic, and conversion trends; provide insights for occupancy goals.
• Oversee rent collections and delinquency management per company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate resident ledgers; post payments, adjustments, and account activity.
• Prepare and process daily deposits; assist with financial reporting and coordination with internal teams.
• Coordinate move-ins/move-outs and associated inspections for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide operational support to leasing team; assist during high traffic periods.
• Support resident communication and resolve escalated concerns; organize engagement activities.
