Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to support planning, execution, and oversight of testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV projects. The role involves coordinating commissioning teams, scheduling, and ensuring safety/compliance on site.

The position is full-time, located on a jobsite in the Midwest with travel. You will work with the Commissioning Manager and SMEs to ensure high-quality, operable renewable energy assets throughout project closeout.

Qualifications

• Experience with testing and commissioning utility-scale electrical systems.
• Knowledge of HV/MV switching operations and equipment grounding.
• Familiarity with site lockout/tag-out safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead project commissioning team; provide guidance and training.
• Report daily status to Commissioning Manager.
• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction and QA teams.
