Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to lead and oversee testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV projects.

You will collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure all systems are installed, tested, and commissioned per project requirements and safety standards. The role is onsite in the Midwest with travel required, reporting to the Commissioning Manager and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project closeout and reliable renewable

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with NFPA/NEC standards and relevant safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the project commissioning team.
• Report daily on project status to the Commissioning Manager.
• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction and QA teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
