Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to plan, execute, and oversee testing and commissioning of HV, BESS, and PV projects. You will work with the Commissioning Manager and SMEs to ensure systems are installed, tested, and commissioned to meet project requirements and safety standards.

The role is full-time on a jobsite in the Midwest with travel required. You will manage commissioning teams, develop plans and procedures, track progress, and drive quality and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in testing and commissioning on utility scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team with guidance, training, and support.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager on status of projects.
• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and milestone deliverables.
• Coordinate with OEM suppliers for equipment testing and commissioning.
• Develop integrated P6 schedules and weekly updates.
• Review energization procedures and perform switching activities as needed.
• Ensure commissioning activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Prepare daily commissioning reports and track lessons learned.
