Job summary

Precisionstaffingusa is seeking an experienced Preventive Maintenance Technician to perform PM on CNC and machine tool equipment at a customer facility in Fife, WA. This is a permanent, site-based position with no regional travel, offering daily on-site collaboration with the same customer team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC/machine tools, strong troubleshooting skills, and solid documentation habits to ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance on CNC machines, machine tools, or similar equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to follow maintenance schedules and manuals.
• Experience documenting maintenance activities in a site tracking system.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, customer-focused approach when interacting with operators and management.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC and machine tool equipment per manufacturer recommendations and site schedules.
• Inspect, adjust, lubricate, and calibrate machinery to reduce downtime and extend life.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and repair.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, parts used, and repairs in the site system.
• Communicate equipment status and concerns to operators and site management.
• Serve as the on-site contact for the service provider and maintain professionalism.
