Job summary

Swiss-Tech, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Preventative Maintenance Technician for our precision manufacturing facility in Wisconsin. You will perform scheduled PM on CNC machines, production equipment, and facility systems, with a focus on reliability, safety, and minimizing downtime.

You will document maintenance activities, inspect equipment, and assist with minor repairs while collaborating with Maintenance and Production teams to keep operations running smoothly and on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow written maintenance procedures, checklists, manuals and work instructions.
• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and preventative maintenance practices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC machines, production equipment, and facility systems according to plans.
• Inspect equipment for wear, leaks, loose components, unusual noises or other signs of potential failure.
• Document completed maintenance activities and update PM records in the tracking system.
• Assist with minor mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs within training and experience level.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Lead and Production teams to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.
• Follow safety policies, PPE requirements and OSHA standards during maintenance work.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized and report unsafe conditions immediately.
