Job summary

Ellison Technologies is seeking a skilled CNC Equipment Diagnostics and Installation Technician to service Memphis and Northern Mississippi markets. You will install, diagnose, and repair CNC mills and lathes, and provide hands-on training to customers to maximize uptime.

You'll work onsite with a supportive team, manage cases, document service history, and communicate options clearly while focusing on diagnostics, repair, and customer success.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining and repairing CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers.
• Depth in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repair; strong PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Proven capability in CNC machine repair and equipment diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Commission and install CNC equipment, ensuring accuracy and performance from day one.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues including PLC and control-level faults.
• Execute preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Support customers with practical training and partner with sales on technical insights.
• Represent Ellison Technologies professionally; communicate status, next steps, and options clearly.
• Own case management and documentation to build a clean service history for each machine.
• Contribute wherever needed to keep customers productive.
