Job summary

Ellison Technologies is looking for a CNC Equipment Diagnostics and Installation Technician to join our Memphis-area team. You will commission, install, and service CNC mills and lathes on-site, ensuring performance from day one and keeping customers productive.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults, perform preventive maintenance, and train customers while collaborating with sales on technical insights.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers.
• Depth in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repair; strong PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Proven capability in CNC machine repair and equipment diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Commission and install CNC equipment, ensuring accuracy and performance from day one.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues including PLC and control-level faults.
• Execute preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and extend machine life.
• Support customers with practical training and partner with sales on technical insights.
• Represent Ellison Technologies professionally; communicate status, next steps, and options clearly.
• Own case management and documentation to build a clean service history for each machine.
• Contribute wherever needed to keep customers productive.
