Job summary

The Standard in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Claims Liaison to support group life, disability, and leave programs. You will manage claims, coordinate death claims, and assist employees with filing, ensuring accurate premium administration and contract interpretation.

Role requires onsite work three days a week (Tue–Thu) and close collaboration with HR, Benefits and Payroll to resolve inquiries, provide claims reporting, and drive process improvements that enhance customer experience and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field; 3+ years in Life and disability, PFML, and voluntary benefits.
• Strong contract interpretation and premium administration knowledge.
• Excellent verbal communication with a focus on empathy and customer service.
• Experience coordinating projects and cross-functional work in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for policyholders, employers, and employees on claims and coverage inquiries.
• Administer life, disability, and leave claims, including coordination of death claims.
• Resolve escalations related to claims, billing, and contract interpretation.
• Partner with HR, Benefits, and Payroll teams across multiple locations.
• Provide reporting on claims status, outstanding items, and Evidence of Insurability.
