Job summary

The Standard in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a dedicated claims liaison to support policyholders, employers, and employees with group life, disability, and leave-related inquiries. You will independently manage claim processes and provide reporting on claim activity, working closely with HR, Benefits, and Payroll teams.

The role requires onsite work in Jacksonville, FL, three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday) and emphasizes service excellence, contract interpretation, and premium administration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in Life and disability, PFML, and Voluntary benefits.
• Experience managing claims processes and resolving complex inquiries.
• Knowledge of benefit contract interpretation and premium administration.
• Experience coordinating projects and cross-functional work.
• Experience supporting group life, disability, and leave programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for policyholders, employers, and employees on claims and coverage inquiries
• Administer life, disability, and leave claims, including coordination of death claims
• Resolve escalations related to claims, billing, and contract interpretation
• Partner with HR, Benefits, and Payroll teams across multiple locations
• Provide reporting on claims status, outstanding items, and Evidence of Insurability
