Job summary

VetJobs is hiring a Continuous Improvement Coordinator for the West Warwick, RI plant. This on-site role leads lean initiatives, deploys CI culture, and drives standard work across production areas to reduce waste and variability.

The ideal candidate will have a High School/GED and experience with Six Sigma/Lean, strong communication, and problem-solving skills to mentor Kaizen teams and sustain CI programs.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience sustaining CI initiatives and Kaizen events.

Responsibilities

• Establish, train, and implement new processes that remove waste and reduce variation using lean tools and principles.
• Share and standardize best practices across the operation.
• Identify and remove barriers to CI implementation.
• Lead and mentor Kaizen activities and follow-up actions.
• Develop and provide CI tools, materials, and training.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Develop KPI tracking for OEE, C/O's, and performance.
• Other duties as assigned.
