Job summary

Worthington Enterprises is seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to lead lean initiatives across the West Warwick facility. You will develop and deploy lean knowledge, culture, principles, tools, and training to reduce waste and variation while mentoring Kaizen activities.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills, with experience in manufacturing environments. This is an on-site position at the West Warwick Plant with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization.
• Six Sigma and Lean Methodology knowledge and/or training.
• Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Distribution/ Production lines/Manufacturing experience.
• Strong organization and record-keeping skills with understanding of safety policies.
• Problem solving skills with the ability to drive resolution.

Responsibilities

• Establish, train, and implement new processes that remove waste using lean tools and principles.
• Share and standardize best practices across the operation.
• Help identify and remove barriers to CI process implementation.
• Lead Kaizen activities and follow up on action items after Kaizen Events.
• Develop and provide CI tools, materials, and training.
• Influence others and communicate effectively at all levels.
