Job summary

Zerocater is seeking an On-Site Catering Attendant to support meal service at our San Jose location. You’ll engage with clients, answer questions on-site, and help ensure smooth delivery, setup, and service for each event.

The role is part-time, with a set Mon-Thu schedule near the airport in San Jose, offering a steady shift rhythm and opportunities to expand shifts when available. Prior hospitality experience is preferred and a Food Handler's Certificate is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Background in hospitality, food service (highly preferred), or a similar customer-facing role.
• Food Handler's Certificate required or willing to obtain one (cost covered by Zerocater).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate delivery intake and ensure smooth transport from loading dock to client meal space.
• Oversee meal set-up and clean-up, manage food layout and presentation, restock dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety in serving areas during service.
• Greet guests and respond to requests to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Take inventory before/after meals and relay feedback to HQ.
