Harper, an AI-native commercial insurance company in San Francisco, seeks a Carrier Partnerships Lead to own portfolio-level relationships with carriers, wholesalers, MGAs, and programs. You will manage access, appointments, capacity, economics, and escalation channels to move accounts along the pipeline.

You are the face of Harper to carriers, driving urgency lists, tracking quotes, binds, and renewals, and ensuring timely action.

Qualifications

• Experience building carrier/wholesaler/MGA partnerships.
• Ability to turn operating data into a carrier-development case.
• Knowledge of appointments, programs, commissions, capacity, and distribution economics.

Responsibilities

• Build and keep the market map for Harper’s carriers, wholesalers, MGAs, and programs.
• Open the right doors by winning appointments and senior relationships.
• Be the face of Harper to carriers and maintain ongoing communications.
• Run the urgency list by sending timely quotes, binds, and renewals and track resolution.
• Turn demand into carrier cases with data-backed justifications and negotiate terms.
• Manage portfolio performance and align relationship effort with outcomes.
• Create clean escalation paths to prevent account ownership conflicts.
