Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp program.

This on-site, live-in position oversees daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced camp kitchen. You will lead a high-volume team, ensure scratch cooking standards, manage inventory and orders, and maintain top sanitation and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified (Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, budgeting capability, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in hot/cold kitchen settings, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen staff, schedule, and train to maintain a high-energy environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking execution.
• Enforce allergen safety protocols and health sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, orders, and budgeting with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
