Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead culinary operations at a fast-paced, on-site summer camp environment. You will oversee daily kitchen activities, staff scheduling, budgeting, and strict allergen safety processes to ensure top-quality meals for diverse dietary needs.

This hands-on, live-in role requires a high-energy leader capable of managing a 6-day, 70-hour week across rural summer camp facilities, with competitive pay and benefits including room and board and travel

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; Allergens knowledge required before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, computer literacy, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in hot/cold kitchen settings.
• Willingness to live on-site, work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff to maintain a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary quality, flow, portion control, and scratch cooking execution.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and Wolfoods corporate office.
