Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at our summer camp network. You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and strict allergen safety standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The position is seasonal (May–Sept), on-site with live-in arrangements. You will lead a kitchen team, ensure scratch cooking, manage inventory, and coordinate with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required; Allergens trained before start date.
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic summer camp setting and work long weeks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards in line with health requirements.
• Handle inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
