Job summary

Bloom Energy seeks a Sales Associate to support the field sales team in San Jose, CA. You will collaborate with the Strategic Account Executive to drive opportunities, map accounts, and build relationships with key decision makers across finance and operations.

You will analyze customer data, articulate Bloom's resiliency value, handle objections, and help create ROI and TCO collateral while ensuring Salesforce compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of sales or energy experience in high tech/facilities equipment/clean tech/consultative sales industries.
• Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to objections and to build relationships at senior manager levels within accounts.
• Highly competitive with the ability to connect broadly across multiple stakeholders.
• Skilled in Consultative Selling.
• Able to travel as required to cover a geographic area.
• Experience using a formalized sales methodology is a plus.
• Passion for the customer, solution, and team.
• Able to grow and adapt as Bloom Energy grows.

Responsibilities

• Support field sales team in attainment of the territory quota.
• Facilitate actions within extended sales team to drive project work streams aligned with closing opportunities and making plan.
• Develop, prioritize and help prospect into target accounts with direction from Account Executive.
• Map accounts and build relationships with customer key decision makers and day to day contacts.
• Gather and perform data analysis on customer interval data to size projects.
• Support the discovery of value tied to our resiliency value proposition.
• Effectively handle objections and link Bloom solutions to customer value.
• Ensure Salesforce compliance and support contract creation.
• Help facilitate financial ROI creation and develop TCO proposal collateral.
• Accountable for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction within assigned accounts.
