Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Commercial Finance team in an on-site San Jose, CA office. The role covers budget management, forecasting, reporting, and business partnering for Sales, Services, and Marketing, including headcount and non-headcount investments.

You will build financial models, analyze ROI, and deliver insights to senior leadership while supporting close processes and period-end reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in FP&A or related finance roles including budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience building forecasts, scenario analyses, and management reports.
• Ability to analyze pipeline, bookings, backlog, ROI, and other commercial metrics.
• Strong communication skills to present to cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly outlooks, and variance analysis for Sales, Services, and Marketing.
• Partner with leaders on headcount plans, requisitions, and related expenses.
• Track non-headcount investments like marketing programs, commissions, and travel.
• Build and maintain financial models for budgets and resource allocation.
• Deliver monthly/quarterly management reporting with actionable insights.
• Develop pipeline reporting and ROI analysis with Marketing and Sales Ops.
• Support bookings/backlog reporting and revenue visibility.
• Drive process improvements and automation in budget tracking and reporting.
