Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Building Engineer I to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) on-site at portfolio properties in the Las Vegas area. The role focuses on routine maintenance, tenant service requests, and safety compliance under senior engineers.

The candidate should have 2-3 years of related experience or a commensurate trade certification, with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing familiarity and BAS operation experience.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of job-related experience or commensurate trade experience.
• Engineering and trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred.
• Developing familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; gaining experience with BAS operation and troubleshooting.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and work order apps.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests, including hot/cold calls, plumbing issues, and lighting repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and accelerate issues as needed.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Conduct property inspections to identify deficiencies; assist with preventive maintenance tasks and contractor oversight.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE; report hazards and participate in safety audits.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies; support recovery during severe weather and outages.
• Interact with tenants, contractors, and property managers; work with senior engineers and technicians.
