Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Building Engineer I to maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. The role focuses on routine maintenance, responding to tenant requests, and ensuring safe operation under senior engineers’ guidance.

Responsibilities include scheduled maintenance, service requests, and record-keeping. The position is office-based with on-call duties and requires familiarity with BAS, OSHA, NEC, and NFPA standards. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience or commensurate trade certification.
• Licenses required per local/state/national rules; CFC certification preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing; BAS operation experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and work order apps on laptops/phones.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests including hot/cold calls, plumbing issues, and lighting repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and escalate issues as needed.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Interact with tenants, contractors, and property managers; coordinate with senior engineers.
