Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain and repair building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting and roofing, for a Global Tech client in the Redmond area. This on-site, first-shift role focuses on PM, corrective repairs and safe, compliant facility operations.

You will apply technical and procedural knowledge across trades, follow safety guidelines, and support energy management while keeping facilities within required standards.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R experience including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair service.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role (lifting up to 50 lbs, stairs, etc.).
• Universal CFC certification preferred; other licenses as required locally.
• Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical and related systems.
• Comply with applicable codes, regulations and safety directives for building operations.
• Maintain an energy management program and ensure efficient operation of all systems.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow safety policies for handling hazardous materials and keep a clean, safe workplace.
• Review building systems like fire alarms, HVAC and plumbing to ensure proper operation.
