Job summary

Envision Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a Resident Engineer to provide on-site construction management and inspection oversight for a transportation and bridge rehabilitation project in the Northern New Jersey/Eastern Pennsylvania region.

You will act as the Owner's primary on-site representative, overseeing day-to-day administration, coordination, testing, documentation, and QA, while coordinating with the project team, utilities, and stakeholders to ensure safety, contract compliance, and

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey OR NICET Level IV certification.
• Minimum 15 years of transportation construction inspection supervision/management experience.
• Bridge rehabilitation or bridge construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Owner's on-site representative during construction.
• Supervise field inspection personnel and coordinate daily activities.
• Review daily reports, quantities, manning, equipment, materials, testing and progress.
• Maintain project documentation, field records, and as-built information.
• Coordinate QA activities, material testing, safety inspections, and schedule reviews.
• Support project closeout, final inspections, and final as-built documentation.
