Envision Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a Resident Engineer to provide on-site construction management for a transportation/bridge rehabilitation project in the Northern New Jersey/Eastern Pennsylvania region.

The Resident Engineer will act as the Owner's primary on-site representative, overseeing field personnel, ensuring safety, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with the project team, contractors, testing agencies, utilities, and design professionals to ensure work is completed on

Formación

• Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey OR NICET Level IV certification.
• Minimum 15 years of transportation construction inspection supervision/management experience.
• Experience providing Resident Engineer, construction management, or senior construction inspection services on transportation infrastructure projects.
• Bridge rehabilitation and/or bridge construction experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of roadway/bridge construction, structural steel, concrete, maintenance and protection of traffic, utility coordination, and construction QA/QC.
• Familiarity with PennDOT and/or NJDOT construction procedures, standards, specifications, and documentation requirements.
• Ability to supervise field inspection personnel and coordinate multiple project stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the Owner's on-site representative during construction.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of construction activities and supervise inspection personnel.
• Monitor work for compliance with plans, specs, and approved submittals.
• Review daily reports, quantities, manpower, equipment, and testing activities.
• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and as-built records.
• Coordinate QA activities, material testing, safety inspections, schedule reviews, and cost controls.
• Assist with change orders, claims avoidance, and project closeout.
