Job summary

Apparel Solutions, a NY–NJ based apparel manufacturer, is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online. On-site in Warren, NJ, the role covers A/P, A/R, reconciliations, and month-end close in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure timely reporting, and support payroll and sales tax activities. Requirements include 10 years of bookkeeping experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 10 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (debits, credits, reconciliations)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Perform daily data entry and transaction management in QuickBooks Online
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking
• Prepare and maintain financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close activities
• Support payroll processing and related reporting
• Assist with sales tax tracking and compliance (as applicable)
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting
