Job summary

GE HealthCare in the Atlanta area seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician 2 to respond to service calls, diagnose, and repair biomedical equipment while performing PMs. The role focuses on customer satisfaction through Service Excellence and may involve relocation support for out-of-state candidates.

Qualifications

• Analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to the customer in an easy to understand manner.
• Willingness to be available after hours or work a rotating On-Call schedule, including weekends, for critical issues and coverage, as necessary.
• Relocation support will be provided for out-of-state candidates.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex, customer biomedical equipment issues, and implement appropriate repairs.
• Perform planned maintenance (PM), safety and environmental inspections, and maintain effective customer relations.
• Follow GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol, and complete necessary documentation.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Equivalent military education and 2+ years of experience servicing electrical or mechanical equipment
