Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a VDC Designer / BIM Coordinator in Boise, ID to develop and maintain complex 3D BIM models for mission-critical facilities. The role emphasizes coordination across MEP, structural, and architectural disciplines, with hands-on use of Revit, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 360.

The ideal candidate has experience leading BIM coordination for large-scale industrial or data center projects, strong communication, and the ability to work on-site at Micron in Boise.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in the AEC industry.
• Experience supporting large-scale industrial, data center, or mission-critical projects preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• LOD 500 modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and update 3D BIM models using Revit per project specs.
• Perform clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination using Navisworks Manage.
• Identify and resolve conflicts between MEP, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and field teams for model accuracy.
• Maintain standardized file structures, naming conventions, and BIM libraries.
• Prepare construction-ready drawings and model views for field use.
• Manage model sharing and version control via BIM 360/AEC Cloud.
