Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Resource Technician 2 for on-site preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of battery energy storage systems (BESS) at client sites. You will perform scheduled repairs, manage safety protocols, and coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires 2–4 years in electrical/renewable energy, ability to read schematics, solid documentation, and willingness to travel up to 3 weeks at a time.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma and 2-4 years in electrical/renewable energy industries.
• Ability to read schematics and follow QC/testing procedures.
• Strong documentation discipline and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel up to 3 weeks at a time.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of BESS equipment and related assets.
• Maintain site safety according to Fluence safety culture and LOTO procedures.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for O&M services.
• Communicate with supervisors, engineers, and managers via MS Teams and email.
• Operate company vehicles and hold a valid driver's license.
• Work in extreme hot/cold environments and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure timely completion of scopes of work with quality and inspections.
• Possess OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, and CPR certifications.
