Fluence is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot advanced battery energy storage systems at customer sites in the United States. You will serve as the onsite technical authority, ensuring safety, reliability, and peak system performance while coordinating with third party contractors and delivering superior customer service.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and 3–5 years of field service experience, with ability to travel

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of field service experience, preferably with battery systems, energy storage, or power electronics.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools.
Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.

Mansioni

Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and support.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and software issues for battery systems both remotely and on-site.
Manage third party contractors.
Provide onsite technical support and training to customers on system operation and safety.
Document service activities, maintenance records, and technical reports accurately.
Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and environmental regulations.
Respond to emergency service requests and resolve issues under time-sensitive conditions.
Ensure compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and service-level agreements
