Job summary

Fluence is seeking a BESS Field Resource Technician 3 to perform service operations, maintenance, and support for Battery Energy Storage Systems near Joseph City, AZ. You will coordinate with the RM, customers, and vendors to keep projects on schedule.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on electrical work, troubleshooting of inverters, SCADA, HVAC, and MV/HV equipment. Requires a HS degree and 4+ years in related fields, with travel and applicable certifications.

Qualifications

• HS Degree and 4+ years in electrical/renewable energy industries.
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and reading schematics.
• Strong documentation and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel regionally and obtain certifications (OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, CPR).

Responsibilities

• Maintain site safety and Fluence safety culture; use stop-work authority as needed.
• Mentor junior team members on complex technical issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on BESS equipment (SCADA, MV/HV, HVAC, substations).
• Create, review, and execute work orders; manage inventory and data reporting.
