Job summary

Fluence seeks a BESS Field Resource Technician 3 to support maintenance and service operations for Battery Energy Storage Systems at site locations near Joseph City, AZ. You will assist the RM with site reports, LOTO, and communications with management, customers and vendors.

The role requires hands-on electrical troubleshooting, interpretation of single-line drawings, and performing preventative maintenance on SCADA, inverters, MV/HV, HVAC, and related systems.

Qualifications

• HS Degree or equivalent required.
• 4+ years in electrical/renewable energy operations or technical roles.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and interpreting schematics.
• Ability to travel frequently to site locations within the region.
• Strong documentation and data collection skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on BESS equipment and related assets.
• Assist RM with work orders, inventory management, and reports.
• Ensure site safety and follow Fluence safety culture and procedures.
• Troubleshoot BESS installations and configurations; interpret drawings and schematics.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for O&M services at contracted sites.
