Job summary

Stryten Energy seeks a Service Technician to repair batteries, chargers and Battery Handling Equipment at customer sites in the Reading, PA area. The role is home-based with travel, and you will have access to a company vehicle and training to become effective in delivering customized solutions.

This position emphasizes safety, customer satisfaction, and proactive upselling of suitable products. A working knowledge of shop tools and basic electronics is essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years battery industry experience.
Forklift training certification or ability to obtain.
Willingness to travel to customer sites and work at various locations.

Responsibilities

Fill out work orders accurately and timely.
Communicate with customer contacts to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and service vehicle.
Repair batteries, chargers and Battery Handling Equipment at customer sites.
Operate forklift, crane, and reach truck as required.
Promote related products and services during service calls.
