Job summary

Mechanics Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team on-site in Seattle, WA. You will perform basic to moderately complex banking transactions, deliver high levels of service, and assist customers with account maintenance while adhering to policies and regulatory guidelines.

You will handle routine teller duties, provide in-person and phone support, balance cash, and refer customers to additional products as needed.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in customer service and cash handling in a banking environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Process routine teller transactions and deposits, withdrawals, transfers and check cashing.
• Provide exemplary customer service in person and over the phone, and identify opportunities to refer customers to additional products.
• Balance cash, follow cash-handling policies, and assist with branch opening/closing and security procedures.
