Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Avionics Technician for an on-site, full-time role in Dallas, TX. You will troubleshoot, repair and install avionics systems, supporting Nav/Com, radar, autopilot and related equipment.

Qualifications include 1+ year avionics experience and a high school diploma; electronics training is a plus. Expect collaboration with customers and strict adherence to FAA guidelines in a fast-paced hangar environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience on avionics repair or installations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Electronics or avionics factory training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for airline travel; passport ideal, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics units to the component level.
• Perform general avionics support on aircraft, including removal and installation of panels and components.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft systems and components.
• Verify aircraft performance and systems operations.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling to support operations.
• Communicate with customers in project management, pricing and support roles.
