Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Avionics Technician to troubleshoot and repair avionics units and aircraft systems on-site in Millville, NJ. The role includes removal/installation of panels, component repairs, and collaboration with customers on project scope and timelines.

You will operate under the Avionics Team Leader, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and timely completion, in a hangar environment with FAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electronics or Avionics factory training is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics units and aircraft systems to the component level.
• Perform removal and installation of panels and components as needed.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and verify aircraft systems and components.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling to support operations.
• Communicate effectively in English and use basic computer systems for training and data bases.
