West Star Aviation is seeking an Avionics Technician in Los Angeles, CA to troubleshoot, repair and verify avionics and related aircraft systems. You will work on Nav/Com/Pulse/Radar/Autopilot systems, perform panel removals and component repairs, and ensure proper system operation in a fast-paced hangar environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1+ years of avionics repair/installation experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electronics or Avionics factory training preferred.
• 1+ years Avionics repair or installation experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot avionics units (Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio, Autopilot) and aircraft systems.
• Remove/install panels and components; perform repairs.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components as assigned.
• Verify aircraft system performance post-maintenance.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Collaborate with customers in project management and pricing.
• Work independently on projects.
• Communicate clearly in English.
• Navigate electronic training, manuals and maintenance data bases.
