Job summary

West Star Aviation in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking an Avionics Technician to perform general avionics support, including removal and installation of panels and components, troubleshooting, inspection, and systems verification on aircraft.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, electronics/avionics training preferred, and a valid driver’s license. 1+ year experience is preferred; benefits start upon hire. This is an on-site, hangar-based role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Electronics or Avionics factory training preferred.
• A valid driver’s license ideal, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform general avionics support items on aircraft, including removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and evaluation of systems on the aircraft when designated.
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components when designated.
• Aircraft movement and performance verification of systems.
• Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling to support operations.
• Work with customer in project management, pricing and customer support roles.
• Work independently on projects.
• Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English.

Education
