Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair avionics and aircraft systems at component level. Responsibilities include removal/installation of Panels and components, troubleshooting, inspection, and performance verification.

This role requires 0-6 years in avionics or military avionics with a strong emphasis on communication in English and basic computer skills. Candidates should be prepared for a high-pace environment in a hangar setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electronics or avionics factory training preferred
• Valid driver's license for airline travel and/or valid passport ideal but not mandatory
• Team-oriented with ability to work in fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics units down to component level (Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio, Autopilot) and related aircraft systems
• Perform installation/removal of panels and components and repair work
• Troubleshoot and evaluate systems on the aircraft as designated
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components as designated
• Verify aircraft systems performance and movements
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling to support operations
• Collaborate with customers on project management, pricing, and support duties
• Work independently on projects and communicate clearly in English
