Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician to support troubleshooting and repair of avionics units and aircraft systems in Addison, TX. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes hands-on panel and component work, and collaboration with customers to manage projects and timelines.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with electronics or avionics factory training preferred. A valid driver's license or passport is ideal but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electronics/avionics factory training preferred.
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform general avionics support items on aircraft, including removal and installation of panels and components and repair work.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate systems on the aircraft as designated.
• Inspect and evaluate the aircraft and components as designated.
• Perform maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling to support operations.
• Work with customers in project management, pricing and customer support roles.
• Work independently on projects.
• Communicate effectively in English (speak, write, read).
• Utilize basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
