Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Tech Support Specialist with Audio Visual experience in Houston, TX. The role is on-site, focusing on Windows/Mac, AV systems, and collaboration tools, with potential travel to client sites.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, while providing remote hands support as guided by our network operations team. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of on-site support or related degree, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of on-site technical support experience or degree in related discipline.
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated, organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Desire to learn and build a career in technical support with AV exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote support to customers as needed across coverage locations.
• Troubleshoot PC, MAC, AV, and network connectivity issues.
• Manage ServiceNow tickets and adhere to SLAs.
• Support Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Handle asset management from acquisition to disposal.
• Install, configure, relocate and troubleshoot printers.
• Assist with event and meeting support on-site or off-site.
• Occasional travel to other locations or client sites.
• Support Crestron devices, Microsoft Surface Hub, and Teams Rooms connectivity.
