Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Onsite Maintenance Technician to support customer sites in Texas. You will work with customers, management, Global Helpdesk, and SIG teams to ensure a world-class service experience and reliable AV performance.

Day-to-day tasks include setting up conference spaces, performing preventative maintenance, cleaning equipment, documenting work, training clients, and traveling to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with employees, customers and colleagues.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Setup and breakdown of conference spaces to meet event needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to maintain customer spaces and test/repair hardware.
• Clean AV equipment including cameras, monitors and fans.
• Document site work and provide client training on AV technology as needed.
• Provide timely support for meetings, installations and basic AV tasks.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
