Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking an Installation Superintendent to lead on-site technology installations across client sites in New York. This senior field role coordinates with project management, crews, contractors and unions to ensure on-time, high-quality work.

The position focuses on site management, finish quality, and problem-solving, with occasional overtime and travel. Requirements include AV installation expertise, CTS certifications, and OSHA training.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
AVIXA CTS Certification is required.
AVIXA CTS-I Certification is highly encouraged.
Must have a valid driver’s license and adhere to insurance requirements.
OSHA 30 Certificate required; NYC OSHA30 preferred.
Other relevant certifications may be required or preferred based on technology focus.

Responsibilities

Drive successful completion, quality control and goals on site.
Oversee all on-site activity and address issues to meet quality and timeline standards.
Lead and delegate tasks to install crews, subcontractors and unions.
Report progress and issues to the Project Manager.
Supervise the installation of technology across locations.
Maintain quality control and document discrepancies.
Read and interpret functional drawings and cable diagrams.
Provide training to on-site install techs.
Maintain tools, materials inventories and company vehicles.
Maintain time records and activity logs for improvements.
