Job summary

Diversified, located in Kenilworth, NJ, is looking for an Installation Superintendent responsible for performing various installation duties on technology projects. This role involves managing on-site activities, directing teams, and ensuring quality throughout the installation process.

The ideal candidate will possess strong AV installation skills, relevant certifications, and five or more years of industry experience. The position includes competitive benefits and requires frequent local travel.

Qualifications

• Must possess AVIXA CTS Certification and OSHA 30 Certificate.
• Five or more years of relevant installation experience is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site activity on the project site and manage issues.
• Lead and delegate tasks to install crews and subcontractors.
• Ensure quality control on the job site and maintain compliance.
• Provide support and training to on-site technicians.
• Track job materials, toolkits, and maintain clean job sites.

Skills

Familiarity with a wide range of audio, video and networking equipment

Knowledge of low-voltage electrical concepts

Advanced AV installation skills

Good verbal communication and customer service skills

Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems

Education

High school diploma or equivalent experience

AVIXA CTS Certification

Five or more years as an installation technician or related industry experience

OSHA 30 Certificate
