GIT America, Inc. in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for an on-site, full-time role. You will support diagnostic and inspection systems used by dealers and facilities across the Americas and troubleshoot issues with scan tools and software.

The position emphasizes customer service, cross-functional collaboration, and training for dealer technicians. Occasional evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support by phone for diagnostic and inspection systems used by dealers, ports, and factories in the Americas.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to diagnostic systems and scan tool devices assisting automotive technicians and mechanics across the Americas.
• Respond to service and repair requests.
• Verify and maintain an accurate record of all items and parts used to repair, replace and maintain products.
• Communicate with customers and HQ regarding repairs and payments.
• Provide technical support and training to dealer technicians and mechanics on the use of scan tool devices.
• Support diagnostic system testing for the development of Hyundai and Kia vehicles, ensuring functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
