Job summary

Rose Associates is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for our multifamily properties in New York City. The role supports the Property Manager in daily operations, resident relations, and administrative tasks to ensure vibrant communities.

The position requires a minimum of 3 years in multifamily or assistant property management, strong computer skills, and experience with RentCafe, Yardi, Elise AI, and On-Site.

Qualifications

• 3 years of multifamily or assistant property management experience required.
• Proficiency with property management software including Microsoft Office, On-Site, Elise AI, RentCafe and Yardi.
• NYS real estate license or ability to obtain within 120 days; active licenses must be registered with Rose Associates upon hire.
• Weekend availability required; current schedule is Sunday–Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between ownership and residents and draft resident communications.
• Manage lease administration, data entry, calendar management, and accounts payable/receivable coding.
• Prepare monthly reports and monitor delinquency below 0.5% of GPR.
• Coordinate Move In/Move Out timelines and security deposit processing.
• Assist Property Manager with budget forecasting and emergencies.
