Convergint is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Tulsa, OK to join our customer-focused team. You will support planning, scheduling, and directing projects in building automation and life-safety systems, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.

You’ll collaborate with engineering and field teams, develop project finances, and help maximize customer satisfaction through strong communication and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating technical projects in building automation, fire alarm, or electronic security.
• Developing project financial skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, organizing, and directing projects and application engineering for assigned projects.
• Ensure projects are executed on budget and on time.
• Ensure positive cash flow on all assigned projects.
• Act as key interface with the customer to maximize satisfaction.
• Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to minimize impact and deviations from costs and deadlines.
• Use financial systems to review actual vs estimated job costs and generate cost reports.
• Perform other duties as requested.
