Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. You will support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and directing technical projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and positive cash flow while maintaining strong customer relations.

The role requires basic project management experience in technical environments, developing financial skills, and leadership-oriented collaboration.

Qualifications

• Basic project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).
• Developing project financial skills.
• Leadership orientation—actively guides, mentors, and develops others within the organization.
• Strong Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, organizing and directing for assigned projects.
• Ensure projects are executed to budgeted cost and time schedules.
• Maintain positive cash flow on all assigned projects and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Identify project risks and contribute to strategies to minimize impact and deviations from estimates.
