Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to lead technical projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and procurement. You will manage field installation, start-up and close-out while ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

You will interface with customers, drive safety and quality standards, and collaborate with a dynamic team to grow with the organization. Experience in building automation, fire/alarm, security and AV systems is valued.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum project management experience in a technical environment such as building automation, fire alarm, electronic security or AV systems.
• Leadership, mentoring and staff development skills; ability to guide others.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple project aspects from award through completion, including site management, installation planning and cost control.
• Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and project implementation plans; review costs and engage in contract negotiations.
• Communicate project requirements clearly to the team and maintain up-to-date records of job status and changes.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, safety and quality assurance across assigned projects.
• Oversee procurement, cost reporting and subcontractor management to meet budget and schedule goals.
